Deborah Nan Eppstein grew up in Toronto and began expressing herself through art at a young age. In nursery school she was scolded for making a paper-maché dog based on her own imagination and not the teacher’s instructions. Deborah continues to carry her love for art and creation as a way to make meaning of her experiences. She walks through the world as an artist, noticing intricate details in shape and color. Through her paintings and drawings, Deborah captures her experiences so others can get a glimpse into her imagination. She finds great joy in creating pieces that transform ideas into lasting works of art. Now based both in Evanston, Illinois and Breckenridge, Colorado, she works privately with individual clients. You can find Deborah in her studio humming while she paints.
